Marta Junqué is a pioneering mother, activist, and consultant dedicated to revolutionizing the way we approach time use to enhance global well-being and institutional innovation.
Currently, Marta serves as the Director of the Time Use Initiative, a leading global organization advocating for transformative time policies and the universal right to time. Since 2021, she has been the Secretary General of the Network of Local and Regional Governments for Time Policies and a member of the Executive Board of the International Association for Time Use Research. Recently, Marta has been instrumental as the primary advisor to the Spanish Government on the forthcoming legislation regarding time use and working hour reduction.
Prior to her current roles, Marta spent a decade as a Strategy and Innovation consultant for international organizations such as the Inter-American Development Bank and the European Commission, while actively engaging with various European NGOs.
