Practical Information

The event will be held at Swissôtel The Bosphorus Istanbul. The main plenary hall is Fuji, floor 5 (two floors below the hotel lobby).
The duration of the event is from 8.00 am on Tuesday, 25 March 2025 to 6.00 pm on Wednesday, 26 March 2025.
Participants staying at Swissotel The Bosphorus kindly asked to register in advance (from 16h on Monday), to avoid delays on the morning of the event. Otherwise registration will open at 8.00am on Tuesday, 25 March, with coffee served until the start of the plenary sessions at 8.40.
Participants will arrange their own transport within Istanbul, with options including yellow, orange, or blue taxis, BiTaksi app, Uber (only taxis), and shuttles (Havaist from IST to Taksim, Havabus from SAW to Taksim).
A security briefing will be held before the opening ceremony at the Main Plenary – Fuji at 8.40 am ; participants should familiarize themselves with venue procedures, and the UN Security contact is Ali Celen (ali.celen@undp.org), +90-538-339-91-29.
Lunch will be provided on 25 and 26 March 2025, with an evening reception on 25 March.
As of 14 March 2025, the exchange rate is 1 USD = 36.602 Turkish Lira; exchange money at banks, exchange offices, or ATMs in the city for better rates than at the airport, and credit or debit cards are accepted in most places.
